Responsible AI

Learn how AI is integrated into DPOSaaS while maintaining human oversight, governance and transparency.

AI Principles

AI within DPOSaaS is designed as an assistive layer, not a decision-maker of record.

  • AI-generated suggestions are presented as inputs for human review, not final governance decisions.
  • AI-assisted outputs can be traced back to their source and reviewed before being acted on.
  • AI features are scoped to specific tasks, such as drafting or risk flagging, rather than open-ended autonomy.

AI Governance

AI features are governed with the same discipline applied to the rest of the platform.

  • Each AI capability, such as DPO Agent™ and AI Risk Assessment, has a defined purpose and scope within the product.
  • Use of AI features is reviewed as part of ongoing platform governance, not managed as a separate system.
  • AI functionality can be limited or disabled at the account level where required.

Human Oversight

Compliance and legal responsibility remain with people, not the AI.

  • DPO Agent™ and AI Assist support the DPO’s workflow; they do not sign off on compliance decisions.
  • Outputs that affect compliance status, risk classification or reporting require human validation before use.
  • Administrators retain visibility and control over how AI features are configured for their organisation.

AI Transparency

Customers should know where AI is involved in their governance work.

  • AI-assisted features are clearly identified within the platform, including DPO Agent™, AI Assist and AI Risk Assessment.
  • This page is updated as AI capabilities are added or changed.
  • Customers can contact us with questions about how a specific AI feature works.
